APAP Annual Members Show in Sedona

What:  APAP Annual Members Show
When:  April 8-14th, 2010
Opening Reception: Friday, April 9th  from 4-8pm
Where: Sedona CEG Gallery (Art Barn)
Who: All paid APAP members are eligible to enter. You may renew  your dues with this form.
How: Send DC with up to 5 jpg. images. Jury will select up to 3 pieces-1 Studio, 2 Plein Air.
How Much: Entry fee is $30. this is separate from your annual membership dues.
Entry Deadline: Checks and CDs must be RECEIVED no later than March 10th.
Notification:
Acceptance letters will go out March 15th.
Delivery: of paintings to the gallery between 8-10am Thursday, April 8th.
Pick-Up- of paintings from the gallery between 305pm Wednesday April 14th. No exceptions.
Sales: There will be an 80/20 split, 80% to the artist, 20% to APAP

Entry Submission Requirements:
Send a CD with up to 5 images- up to 2 Studio (max.18"x 24") and up to 3 Plein Air works (max 16"x20") completed in the last two years and not previously shown at an APAP show, along with CD send entry fee check, and correctly completed entry form, please print legibly.
CD images should be saved as jpg.files, not too large- between 200kb-1000kb, 72 dpi is fine.
Image files should be saved and labeled as follows. Artistname-title-size-price-P (for plein air) or S (for studio) Example: Cody DeLong-Aspen Glow-11x14-$750-P.jpg.
Your entry form will contain the same info -they should match
Label CD with the Artists Name in marker.
Max size is 18"x24".
Jury Committee will select up to one Studio, and up to t3wo Plein Air Pieces from your entry.
All jury decisions are final.
Note: No substitutions of accepted works, no price changing, NO Exceptions!
Framing: Accepted Paintings must be framed in exhibition quality frames and properly wired for hanging, no sawtooth hangers.

1st Place- $500.00
2nd Place- $300.00
3rd. Place- $200.00

Suggestions:
APAP is sending our announcements to National Magazines and local newspapers. We will also have an email promo that you can forward to your personal mailing lists. The more people who help promote the show the better for all involved so please try to talk it up, and send invitations to your collectors.
Delivery / Shipping instructions will accompany acceptance letter.

Remember you may enter up to two studio pieces and up to three plein air pieces. Incomplete entry forms and mislabeled CDs will not be considered.

APAP Annual Membership Dues- $35.00 ( if you need to renew)
Labeled CD with up to 5 images. Note: please double -check your CD, make sure it opens easily and does not require a special program. Do not save files in a proprietary program like Microsoft picture manager. Those using programs like Photoshop should be fine, just save as a standard jpg.
