APAP Juried Winter Show
“Small Gems”

Sun Dust Gallery
February 23st through March 9th, 2010
January 15th Entries to be
received by APAP. No late entries will be accepted.
February 22 Deliver accepted artwork to
gallery. Sun Dust Gallery at 48 W. Main St. Mesa, AZ. Hand
deliver y between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
Shipped work must arrive from 2/17/10-
2/22/10.
February 27th Farmers Market Paint=Out- Participating
artist may set up to paint the Market and street
scenes.
Have postcards/business cards ready to
hand out to the public and invite them to our
show.
March 9th Pickup of all artwork from the
gallery. If sending someone in your place, please have a
written confirmation that they can take
your artwork.
The Sun Dust Gallery is in revitalized
historic downtown Mesa. The Gallery is located at 48 W. Main St. ,
right across the street from the new Mesa Art Center. Their foot
traffic is very heavy at this time of year because of the tourists
in town. The spring training has started and hotels are full. Please
check out the Sun Dust Gallery website to see some of their past
shows. The date of
“Small Gems” Reception will be announced as will the Awards. www.sundustgallery.com

Paintings/Material
Preparation
11”x 14” or smaller –
Up to 3 entries per artist-
Professionally framed and wired hang- no saw toothed hangers.
Stay with white or crčme mats when appropriate. Oils, pastels,
watercolor or acrylic paintings only.
All entries must have a CD with your images (small files as jpg’s)
, entry fee of $35.00 for up to 3 entries and an entry form.
Images are to be of just the painting, no frames showing. Take the
time to get a good digital photo of your work to give the jury the
best look at your painting.
A jury panel will select the final accepted works.
All pieces must be for sale, no substitutions.
The split is 60% artist 40% APAP and gallery.
Shipping work- please use sturdy re-useable
boxes for your artwork. No peanuts. Provide a return form with your
account # and your address already filled out on the form-
