Founding Member 2008 This work was done en plein air in Bisbee , AZ. The lady who owns this property was so moved by the events following 9-11 that she commissioned a local artist to complete the ironwork on this gate and the angels. The angels are depicting their work as ascending and descending to take the victims of 9-11 to Heaven. As an artist I strive to record history all over the southwest. Mission Statement: Beauty surrounds us. There is joy in life. From a small child’s smile to an ancient’s wise eyes, from a small stream to the pounding surf, from a bouquet of faded garden flowers to a riotous colorful garden. When I observe nature’s abundance I have a driving urge to recreate the scene for others to enjoy in the only way in which I am capable, I paint. Capturing the light, the color and emotion felt when painting a scene for others to enjoy is my life. |
