Juried Artist Member Annual Show
April 2 to April 11th, 2009
This
year our Artist Member Annual show will be held at the
Sedona CEG Gallery (The Art Barn ). Opening
night Reception will be held
on Friday, April 3 ( First Friday’s, Sedona Art Walk ).
4:00pm – 8:00pm. Top Prize is $500.00 and the painting
receiving top prize will be published on the postcard
and all advertising for the APAP Artist Annual
show in 2010. This show is
open to all juried Artist Members with paid dues for
2009. You may renew your membership with this
application. If you are applying to join APAP, please
be aware that you must be juried in as an Artist
Member to be eligible for this show.

the right to use images for advertising purposes.
Requirements:
*5
Images,
studio and/or plein air,
may be submitted with two works being chosen for
the show. *Follow the entry instructions carefully to
avoid being disqualified.
*All paintings must be original and completed since Jan.
2007.
*All work shown must be for sale.
*No
substitutions for any of the paintings once
selected by the jury
committee.
*All
artwork must be removed from the gallery
on April 11
by 3:00pm.
Entry
submission rules:
*Send CD with 5 jpeg images of works for the jury
committee process and for use on the website. Your
images should be cropped to exclude framing or matting.
Size digital images to at least 250KB and less than
2000KB.
*Label
your CD with artist’s name.
*Include a list of all the paintings in order as they
are on the CD with your contact info. title, and size of
each piece.
*Assign file names as follows: Last-name/first
initial/ title/size/price. jpg
*Images
must be of exact work to be exhibited. Artwork may be
employed for printed publicity and for thumbnail images
on the APAP website.
*Max image size of 16”
x 20”. From your 5 images, the Jury committee will
select two pieces for inclusion in the show.
Send a check along with your CD for $30.00. This is your
show entry fee and is separate from your annual dues.
Show fee helps pay rent and promotional expenses.
Checks
and CD’s must be received no later that
February 15th, 2009.
*Please follow the directions carefully or your
submission may be disqualified.
*You will be contacted by email listing which paintings
were accepted.
Sales:
There will be an 80/20 split, 80% goes to the artist. 20% to
APAP.
Framing:
Artwork must be framed in exhibition quality frames.
They must be properly wired for hanging, no saw-tooth
hangers. All artwork must not have been exhibited
in any APAP shows.

*Hand delivered artwork
should arrive between 8:00am and 10:00am on April 2nd,
2009 at the gallery.

Ex/UPS form with your account # Billed to / and your
mailing address for return. No peanuts and use reusable

Suggestions:
APAP is sending out announcements about this show to
magazines and newspapers locally and nationally. If
each artist would send out an invitation or E
announcement to their client list it will help get the
word out. Let’s put the strength of all of our contacts
to work to make this show a success. If you can help
with the night of the Opening Reception please email
Barbara Donahue. April is a very busy month in Sedona
and if last years attendance is any indication this
year’s visitor traffic will be heavy. We can make this
a successful show by getting the word out!
